Job summary

Journey Bank is seeking a full-time Lead Community Banking Associate to join our Danville Community Office on-site. You will oversee paying and receiving, balance cash, and support the team in daily operations to serve customers efficiently.

Responsibilities include coordinating staff, preparing reports, maintaining cash levels, and ensuring policy compliance with BSA, CRA and Equal Credit Opportunity Act. A high school diploma and teller experience are required to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years Teller experience normally required.
• Moderate reading, writing and grammar skills.
• Professional and courteous communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate office machines.

Responsibilities

• Ensures paying and receiving, balancing, and operational activities are done efficiently and according to policy.
• Ensures staff works as part of the customer service team and seizes new business referral opportunities.
• Coordinates staff work with other office positions, centralized operations personnel, and other departments.
• Prepares related reports as assigned by the Assistant Community Office Manager.
• Maintains cash levels according to approved cash management policies.
• Balances and maintains currency and coin.
• Orders currency and coin for the office; ships extra money; maintains office supplies.
• Maintains cash management records.
• Balances vault cash daily for the office.
• Supports adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements (BSA, CRA, EEO).
