• Two years of experience reviewing, verifying, and interpreting information to determine and resolve problems involving prison sentence calculations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain commitment records files and resolve problems in sentence calculations.
• Ensure compliance with state laws, court orders, and DPSCS regulations.
• Interact with the public, incarcerated individuals, attorneys and officials to provide information.
• Train lower‑level Commitment Records Specialists.
• Work may be performed in a correctional or detention facility environment; be subject to call‑in 24 hours a day and may require evenings, weekends and holidays.
