Job summary

The Waldinger Corporation in Independence, KS is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning of mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring verification and turnover readiness. You will coordinate resources, documentation, and subcontractor scopes from inspection through startup and testing.

Responsibilities include planning, testing, and coordinating with engineering, field teams, and clients to meet project requirements and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of project engineering or management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimal Travel
• Physical Demand: Light

Responsibilities

• Commissioning Execution: Leads mechanical and plumbing commissioning activities from Level 3 through Level 5 testing and verification.
• Commissioning Planning And Controls: Develops and maintains project-specific commissioning plans, schedules, documentation, and testing requirements.
• Technical Testing And Verification: Creates, reviews, and modifies commissioning test scripts based on project drawings and sequences of operation.
• Project And Client Coordination: Facilitates commissioning meetings with project teams, clients, commissioning agents, and stakeholders.
• Commissioning Team And Trade Leadership: Directs the work of assigned commissioning team members and coordinates subcontractors.
