Job summary

NorthMark Compute & Cloud (NMC²) seeks an experienced Manager of Commissioning to act as the on‑site execution authority at its Spartanburg HPC facility. You will own the commissioning lifecycle 1‑5, coordinating with GCs and a commissioning team to safely IST each project aspect.

You will verify FAT/FWT docs and equipment readiness, coordinating with MEP owners on installation sequencing and site readiness milestones, ensuring compliance and timely handoffs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on commissioning in mission‑critical environments.
• Experience executing commissioning programs in live data centers.
• Demonstrated CMOP development, load bank coordination, tests, and energization.
• Experience managing FAT/FWT docs and on‑site OEM startup.
• Strong knowledge of high/low voltage, mechanical cooling, controls, and fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning across electrical and mechanical systems for large data centers, ensuring design intent and codes.
• Coordinate with GCs, subcontractors, and engineers to sequence turnover and close punch lists.
• Review testing documentation (torque, insulation, grounding, load bank data) for standards compliance.
• Align commissioning milestones with equipment delivery and construction progress; flag risks.
• Serve as technical point of contact for field verification, testing, and issue resolution across systems.
• Collaborate with third‑party CxA on scripts, schedule, and load banking.
• Reinforce site safety with contractor teams and OSHA standards.
• Develop CMOPs for high‑risk switching and energization work on site.
• Coordinate first‑time energization events with Cx schedule.
