Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC in Spartanburg, SC seeks an experienced, hands-on Manager of QAQC & Commissioning to lead on-site execution at our HPC facility. You will own the QAQC program and commissioning lifecycle, coordinating with GCs, subcontractors, third-party agents, and OEM techs to ensure readiness and compliance.

The responsibilities include reviewing testing docs, managing FAT/FWT, developing CMOPs for high-risk work, and delivering on-time status updates to the Director of Construction

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on QAQC and commissioning in mission-critical environments.
• Experience directing commissioning programs in live data centers or similar facilities.
• CMOP development, load bank coordination, integrated testing, and first-time energization.
• Experience managing FAT/FWT documentation on-site with OEM technicians.
• Strong knowledge of high/low voltage electrical, mechanical/cooling, controls, and fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning across electrical and mechanical systems to meet design, code, and owner requirements.
• Coordinate turnover sequencing with GCs, subs, and design engineers; track punch lists through to acceptance.
• Review testing documentation (torque, insulation resistance, grounding, load bank data) for compliance.
• Support scheduling alignment between commissioning milestones, equipment, and construction progress.
• Serve as technical point of contact for field verification, testing, and issue resolution.
• Develop and execute the QAQC program per established standards.
• Maintain QAQC docs and sign-off packages; coordinate with third-party CX agents.
• Lead on-site QAQC staff and consultants, ensuring policy adherence.
