Busey Bank is seeking a Commercial Underwriter to deliver accurate credit underwriting for commercial loan portfolios and new business development by Relationship Managers. The role focuses on financial analysis, risk assessment, and collaboration with lending staff to prepare CCAR memos and ensure proper documentation.

The position requires 5+ years in commercial credit, strong cash flow and leverage analysis, and familiarity with nCino and loan policy. A competitive rewards package is included.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance required.
• 5+ years of commercial credit experience.
• Experience as a Commercial Underwriter or related role.

Aufgaben

• Spread and analyze financial statements including DSCR/FCCR.
• Assess debt service, cash flow, liquidity, profitability and leverage.
• Prepare CCAR memos with risk assessment and borrower strengths/weaknesses.
• Evaluate collateral and industry data.
• Assist portfolio management with covenant testing and reviews.
