Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee project execution, financial performance, and client relationships in Fort Lauderdale. The role requires 6+ years of experience in commercial construction with mechanical/HVAC project exposure preferred.

Responsibilities include budgeting, procurement, scheduling, supplier coordination, and field oversight. Travel across South Florida and occasional site visits are expected; PMP preferred and a degree in CM/CE or related

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant construction experience with commercial projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Ownership of project budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Understanding of building codes, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Availability to work from Davie and travel frequently throughout South Florida.

Responsibilities

• Translate drawings, specs, and contract requirements into project plans and milestones.
• Own budgets, cost tracking, procurement, and subcontractor expenditures.
• Coordinate design partners, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams to keep work moving.
• Monitor schedules and resolve risks affecting delivery or profitability.
• Visit job sites to verify workmanship, safety, and compliance.
• Lead project meetings, communicate with clients, and document RFIs, submittals, and changes.
