Job summary

MAFÉ Resources in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to own major projects—from preconstruction through closeout—and to build strong client relationships and leadership within the team.

The role offers a base salary of $120,000–$160,000 with annual bonus, plus a vehicle allowance and cell phone stipend. Candidates should have 3+ years’ PM experience with CMAR or Design‑Build, and be willing to relocate to the Fort Lauderdale area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial GC.
• Experience with CMAR and/or Design-Build delivery methods.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MSP, and MS Office.
• Valid driver's license.
• Located in or willing to relocate to the Fort Lauderdale/South Florida area.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Review plans and specifications for accuracy, constructability, and project requirements.
• Prepare General Conditions and establish baseline project schedules.
• Track project budgets, costs, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, owner pay applications, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Write and execute subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and performance.
• Lead regular jobsite coordination and project meetings.
• Maintain strong communication with owners, clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Serve as a leader and mentor to younger team members.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor
• Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing, scheduling, drawings, and specifications
• Experience negotiating and managing subcontract agreements
• Experience with CMAR and/or Design-Build delivery methods
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
• Strong client-facing communication and leadership skills
• Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related degree preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Located in or willing to relocate to the Fort Lauderdale/South Florida area
