Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. in South Boston, VA, is seeking a Plumbing Foreman to manage day-to-day operations on assigned commercial plumbing tasks.

You will guide journeymen, mechanics, and apprentices, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction while maintaining a positive work environment. The role combines supervisory duties with hands-on plumbing work; you will plan procedures, coordinate with subcontractors, review specs, and attend site and office meetings to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial plumbing operations.
• 2+ years as Plumbing Foreman on heavy commercial projects.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems installation.
• Experience leading crews of 8–10 workers.
• Able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Study specs, contract documents, BIM model, schedule to plan procedures.
• Assemble project staff across roles.
• Perform wide range of skilled plumbing tasks as Foreman.
• Direct and coordinate with subcontractors to execute work.
• Coordinate with engineers and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Attend site and office meetings for assigned tasks.
• Lead installation, modification, and repair of plumbing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
