Job summary
Smart Care Equipment Solutions in Los Angeles is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician with 1+ year of experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair. The role covers cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related systems, with on-site troubleshooting and installation of parts.
You will read diagrams, diagnose issues, and collaborate with manufacturers and the Technical Assistance Group. Clinic-style on-the-job and formal training are provided along with benefits and advancement
Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or related military service.
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
- EPA/CFESA certifications preferred.
- Strong ability to read diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
Responsibilities
- Partner with restaurant managers to service commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment on-site in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret diagrams/schematics to inform repairs.
- Install parts ordered for customers in accordance with policy.
- Generate accurate work orders, time reports and inventory records.
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and tools.
- Follow safety procedures and report any hazards.
