Job summary
Advance Industrial Mechanical (AIM) is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, with emphasis on large-scale performance and advanced controls. The role includes mentoring junior technicians and handling complex refrigeration cycles.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with 50-ton systems, Hydronic pumps, TXVs, and reading complex schematics, while delivering safe, high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining large commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC components including large compressors, motors, economizers, and VAV systems.
- Ability to mentor Level 1 & Level 2 technicians and provide guidance.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems up to 50 tons, including large compressors and motors.
- Diagnose evaporator & condenser coil issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Troubleshoot VAV systems and economizers to optimize air handling and energy usage.
