Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Commercial HVAC Foreman to lead a crew on active construction sites. You will plan daily tasks, oversee ductwork and equipment installations, and ensure work meets blueprints and codes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in commercial HVAC and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. EPA certification and a Journeyman license are preferred. This role involves physical work on rooftops and mechanical rooms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Solid knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, controls, and mechanical codes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew and delegate tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team on active construction sites, plan daily activities, and assign tasks to crew members.
• Coordinate HVAC installations according to blueprints, specifications, and engineered plans.
• Oversee duct systems, equipment, refrigerant piping, ventilation, and controls while ensuring code compliance and safety.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, engineers, inspectors, and other trades.
• Mentor apprentices and junior installers, manage materials and equipment, and resolve roadblocks to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Assist with system startup, punch lists, and final project completion while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
