Job summary

Greater Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Installation Foreman to lead installation crews and oversee field operations on assigned commercial projects. The role ensures safe, efficient, on-schedule work in accordance with project specs and company quality standards.

The candidate will have extensive commercial HVAC installation experience, strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with project managers,

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of commercial HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Experience leading commercial installation crews and coordinating field operations.
• Valid Kentucky Journeyman HVAC License preferred and may be required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping and controls.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and schedules.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily activities of installation crews on commercial projects.
• Oversee installation of rooftop units, air-handling equipment, ductwork and piping.
• Review plans and specs to ensure fieldwork aligns with requirements.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and subcontractor activity.
• Maintain quality control and ensure safety compliance on sites.
• Communicate progress and issues with project management.
• Mentor and develop installers and apprentices.
• Support project closeout activities and documentation.
