Job summary

Metro Walls is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead commercial drywall and framing crews across Maine. You will oversee daily field operations, ensuring work is safe, efficient, and on schedule while maintaining high quality.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating with project teams, reading blueprints, mentoring crew members, and enforcing safety and workmanship standards. In-person work location with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with crew leadership.
• Strong knowledge of drywall, framing, or related commercial trades.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews on commercial construction projects.
• Plan and organize daily and weekly work to maximize productivity.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and address issues promptly.
• Coordinate with superintendents, PMs, GCs, and other trades.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and project schedules.
• Monitor progress and communicate challenges or delays proactively.
• Train, mentor, and develop crew members.
• Enforce safety, quality, and performance expectations.
• Promote safe work practices and company policies.
• Help control labor costs by minimizing waste and downtime.
