Job summary

J. Thomas Property Services, headquartered in Annapolis, MD, seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent to supervise daily field operations across multiple commercial sites.

You will direct crews, coordinate onsite activities, maintain schedules, ensure quality and safety, and resolve issues as they arise. This hands-on leadership role requires 4+ years in commercial construction, ability to travel within ~60 miles, and proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam Revu, and Procore.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar in commercial construction.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project documents.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and on-site safety practices.
• Willingness to travel within ~60 miles of Annapolis, MD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple active commercial sites.
• Direct, schedule, and coordinate on-site crews to meet project requirements.
• Lead and train crew members, providing guidance as needed.
• Hands-on work to maintain productivity and meet deadlines when required.
• Identify and resolve issues based on changing jobsite conditions.
