You will direct crews, coordinate onsite activities, maintain schedules, and ensure quality and safety standards while resolving issues as they arise. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in commercial construction supervision and a hands-on leadership style, capable of traveling within ~60 miles of Annapolis, MD.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in commercial construction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple active commercial construction sites.
- Schedule, direct, and coordinate onsite crews to ensure safe, efficient work.
- Lead and train crew members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Work hands-on with crews to maintain productivity and meet deadlines.
- Make informed decisions based on changing jobsite conditions.
- Start up new jobsites and establish organized, safe work environments.
- Coordinate onsite activities with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members.
- Develop and maintain short-term schedules to keep projects on track.
- Monitor daily progress and identify potential delays or obstacles.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and onsite activities to support schedules.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions to the PM team.
- Coordinate subcontractors and other trades to minimize disruptions.
- Monitor jobsite quality and ensure work meets plans and standards.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, with potential variation based on project needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.

- Willingness and ability to perform hands‑on construction work alongside crews when needed.
- Ability to travel between jobsites within approximately 60 miles of Annapolis, MD.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, or other construction/project management software is a plus.
