Job summary

Trueline Talent’s client is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to own ground-up and complex commercial projects across the country. You will manage preconstruction, budgeting, schedules, documentation, and coordination with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.

This role requires 7+ years in commercial construction with a general contractor, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel 15–20% while working onsite

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive commercial construction experience with a general contractor
• 3+ years in a PM role preferred
• Experience managing large ground-up or complex commercial projects
• Ownership of budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Willingness to travel ~15–20% and work onsite Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Own project budgets, schedules, documentation, and execution
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and leadership
• Manage subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project docs
• Monitor costs, forecasts, and milestones to keep work on track
• Lead meetings and communicate with clients and stakeholders
• Identify risks, solve problems, and make timely decisions
