Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Lead Combustion Aerothermal Engineer to own the design, analysis, and optimization of DLN2.6e combustion systems. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality solutions, drive upgrades, and ensure safety and performance.

The role requires a strong technical ownership mindset, Lean-driven problem solving, and the ability to mentor engineers while navigating a fast-paced environment. Relocation is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience in heat transfer or combustion.
• Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Design & Analysis: aerothermal design and CFD analyses for gas turbine systems.
• Technical Stewardship: own combustion flowpath design and validate operability and emissions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with multiple engineering teams to optimize subsystems.
• Continuous Improvement: lead RCA, apply Lean principles, and drive process innovation.
• Project Delivery: manage milestones and reviews per NPI practices.
• Mentorship: coach team members and engage with key stakeholders.
