The role emphasizes safe, efficient production following customer specs and quality standards, with leadership duties for assistants. The candidate will monitor processes, adjust parameters, perform quality checks, and document production records.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math and measurement skills.
• Proven ability to follow jobs and production paperwork.
• Experience with flexographic printing or coating is preferred.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot coating/printing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor coating and printing equipment to produce products per customer specs and schedules.
• Review job orders and production docs to determine quantities, materials, colors, and machine settings.
• Load raw materials and substrates; unload finished products.
• Adjust machine speeds, temperatures, pressures, coating weights, and ink flow to meet quality targets.
• Conduct quality checks and document results; identify defects and perform corrective actions.
• Provide direction and training to Coating Machine Assistants; promote teamwork and safety.
• Maintain equipment logs and ensure a clean, organized work area; support maintenance tasks as needed.
