Responsibilities

• Plans machining by studying blueprints, materials, specifications, assembly drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.
• Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, setting tool and work offsets, and calculating requirements.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
• Maintains safety by following procedures and regulations; maintains equipment and supplies.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs; updates weekly WIP schedule.
