Job summary
Steel Tool & Engineering in Michigan is seeking a full-time CNC Operations Supervisor to lead our machining team. You will oversee daily CNC operations, set up, program, and run machines, and drive quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience with strong G-code knowledge
- Leadership experience in manufacturing
- Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills for machining, tooling, and programming issues
- Proficiency with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMMs
- Familiarity with CNC controls such as Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma, or similar
- Basic computer skills for documentation and ERP systems
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily CNC operations and assign tasks to operators
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines
- Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain quality standards
- Mentor operators and collaborate with engineering
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
