Job summary

PrideStaff is assisting a Sumner-based manufacturing company in search of a skilled CNC Machinist to lead the department and manufacture parts for aerospace/aviation. You will set up, run, perform basic CNC programming, and help schedule the team to meet daily production goals.

The ideal candidate has multiple years of machine shop leadership, strong experience with CNC Mill and/or Lathe machines, and solid knowledge of MasterCAM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 3+ years of machine shop lead experience required.
• 5+ years of CNC lathe machining experience required.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and critical thinking.
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up & Run 2-axis & multi-axis CNC lathes with sub-spindle.
• Oversee and manage production team of 1-3 employees over 2 shifts & day-to-day schedule.
• Assist & monitor department for efficiency, quality, and accuracy.
• Ensure all machines are running and producing quality parts.
• Organize and plan fixturing and tooling for work orders.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools; suggest improvements.
