Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Lead CNC Machinist for Aerospace & Defense precision components in White Salmon, WA. This onsite role involves setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce complex aerospace parts, tooling, and fixtures.

You will act as the go-to technical resource, drive setup and cycle-time improvements, and mentor junior machinists across a growing public company with nationwide sites. The position targets senior/lead machinist experience with aerospace/defense exposure.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC setups and machining of complex, tight-tolerance components.
• Ability to read GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience training and mentoring machinists.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC equipment producing aerospace components, tooling and fixtures.
• Read and interpret drawings, specs, and GD&T; perform precision measurements.
• Support program prove-out and first-part production with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate daily machining priorities; mentor less-experienced machinists.
• Drive improvements in setup time, throughput, and shop-wide standards.
