Job summary

RTCA in Washington state seeks a CNC Machinist I-III to perform CNC setups on Mill/Lathe/Swiss, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet specs. This full-time, onsite role is based in Fife or Sumner with swing or weekend shifts.

You will work with Engineering and Quality teams to optimize processes, mentor junior machinists, and maintain a safe, organized work environment while contributing to aerospace manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience performing CNC setups on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify parts.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC setups (Mill/Lathe/Swiss) on multiple machines.
• Select tooling, load programs, and support workholding.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure conformance.
• Collaborate with Engineering for tooling and process improvements.
• Mentor less experienced machinists and maintain safety standards.
