Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for 1st or 2nd shift in Lebanon, Ohio. The candidate will program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC lathes to produce precision components and oversee production to meet schedules.

You will read engineering drawings, apply GD&T, use precision inspection tools, and document data and nonconformances. Mentoring fellow machinists and identifying process improvements are also part of the role.

Qualifications

3+ years CNC machining experience on lathes.
Proficient Mazak programming and setup.
Strong GD&T knowledge.
Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
Ability to hold tight tolerances in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC lathes to produce precision machined components
Oversee and coordinate all production activities to meet schedules and output targets
Mentor and assist fellow machinists with CNC programming and machine operation
Ensure all parts meet established quality standards through in-process and final inspection
Perform tolerance analysis and review engineering drawings, including GD&T specifications
Conduct part post-processing operations as required per job travelers and work orders
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain optimal efficiency
Document production data, nonconformances, and shift reports accurately
Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate findings to supervision
