Job summary

Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC mills or lathes, reading blueprints and GD&T, selecting tooling, performing tool changes, and inspecting parts with precision instruments.

Qualifications

• Several years of CNC machining experience.
• Advanced experience operating CNC mills or CNC lathes.
• Setup experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
• Perform tool changes and machine offsets.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Verify parts meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Identify and correct machining or quality issues.
• Complete required production and inspection documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support and assist less-experienced operators as needed.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
