Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Project Manager for Construction Materials Testing in Frederick, MD. You will lead field staff, coordinate testing of soils, asphalt, and concrete, and ensure accurate inspections, testing, and reporting. This role blends field and office work in a fast-paced ESOP-owned environment.

You’ll mentor junior staff, manage schedules and budgets, and build strong client relationships while advancing into ownership possibilities within the employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction materials testing/inspection experience.
• Certifications in soils, concrete, asphalt, or related materials.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards and CMT principles.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage teams and multiple project priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on active construction projects overseeing materials testing operations.
• Coordinate field staff, schedules, and project workflows.
• Ensure inspections, testing and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain equipment/records.
• Support client relationships and strong project delivery across field/office work.
