Eide Bailly is seeking a Lead CMMC Certified Assessor (LCCA) to expand our Risk Advisory practice in the United States. You will lead CMMC Level 2 assessments, mentor junior staff, and shape delivery models while engaging with clients and firm leadership on growth initiatives.

The role requires hands-on CMMC assessment experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and an active LCCA certification with Tier 3 background, along with a willingness to travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Active LCCA certification with adjudicated Tier 3 background.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, or GRC.
• Hands-on experience with CMMC assessments.
• Strong understanding of CMMC requirements, objectives, and evidence evaluation.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements with attention to detail and quality.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in shaping offerings and delivery models.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform CMMC Level 2 assessments per CMMC and DoD.
• Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness; document findings.
• Serve as engagement lead: project planning, delivery oversight, and budget management.
• Communicate project status, risks, and financials to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor and support assessors and consultants as the practice grows.
• Collaborate with leadership on practice development and go‑to‑market strategy.
• Contribute to internal growth initiatives, sales calls, and thought leadership.
• Stay current on evolving CMMC guidance and cybersecurity trends.
