Job summary

IBSS is hiring a Lead Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) Consultant in Silver Spring, MD – Remote. This position involves leading CMMC Level 2 assessments, ensuring compliance with quality standards and CAP.

Responsibilities include managing the assessment lifecycle, mentoring team members, and validating control implementations. Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity GRC or DoD assessments focusing on NIST SP 800-171/FISMA.
• Expert knowledge of CMMC L2 practices and processes with familiarity with NIST SP 800-171A.
• Certifications including Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) and preferred CISSP, CISA, or CAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full assessment lifecycle per CMMC Assessment Process.
• Lead assessment meetings and mentor team members.
• Validate implementation per NIST assessment objectives.
