Job summary

A growing cybersecurity firm in the United States is seeking a CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) to lead assessments for defense contractors and mentor junior assessors. The ideal candidate will guide clients through CMMC Level 2 compliance and provide expertise on NIST SP 800-171/DFARS. This fully remote position targets candidates from Idaho and Colorado, offering a competitive salary and performance incentives. Only those with an active CCA certification should apply.

Qualifications

• Active CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) credential is required.
• Experience with NIST SP 800-171/DFARS is necessary.
• Strong understanding of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) principles.
• U.S. citizenship is required; security clearance is preferred.

Shadowscape is expanding our CMMC practice and is looking for a CCA ready to lead assessments, mentor junior assessors, and help defense contractors navigate CMMC Level 2 compliance. (Lead CCAs preferred)
