Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Infrastructure & Platform Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) – AWS. You will guide enterprise customers through architecture, administration, and security of their Databricks deployments on AWS, partnering with Solutions Architects to align roadmaps with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

The role can be remote. You will lead secure, scalable enterprise deployments, advise on IAM, VPC, PrivateLink, and compliance, and mentor teams while delivering PoCs and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in technical roles with AWS, security, and enterprise data design.
• 2+ years in customer-facing roles (Pre-Sales/Consulting).
• Deep expertise in one of: Security & Identity, Networking, or Platform Administration.
• Hands-on Python/Java/Scala and strong SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead secure, scalable Databricks on AWS deployments from design to production.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects on PoC architectures for customers.
• Mentor teams, deliver tutorials, and share knowledge.
• Travel up to 30% as needed.
