Job summary

WinsAbove is seeking an Infrastructure & Platform Specialist Solutions Architect for AWS to guide Databricks deployments on AWS. You will collaborate with Solutions Architects to design and deploy mission-critical workloads, aligning customers' roadmaps with the Databricks platform.

The role is remote and reports to the Specialist Field Engineering Manager. You will lead technical design, security compliance, and scalable architecture, while mentoring others and contributing to internal training

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on AWS experience including cloud security, networking, and enterprise data platform design.
• 2+ years distributed architectures and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
• 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Pre-/Post-Sales, or Consulting).
• Expertise in at least one domain: Security & Identity, Networking & Deployments, Platform Administration, InfraOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks on AWS platform administration from architecture to deployment.
• Architect secure, scalable enterprise deployments with AWS networking and security controls.
• Be a subject matter expert in AWS infrastructure, IaC, cloud networking, and identity management.
• Support pre-sales by building PoCs and technical content on AWS.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing with tutorials, hackathons, and community contributions.
