Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Staff Cloud Network Engineer for a remote, contract role. You will lead secure, resilient cloud and hybrid networking across AWS and Azure, implementing hub-and-spoke architectures, and automating infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD practices.

You’ll collaborate with Cloud, Platform, Infrastructure, Security, and application teams to standardize connectivity, improve performance, and ensure observability and compliance for global environments. W2 benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, implementing and supporting complex production network environments.
• Advanced hands-on experience with AWS and Azure networking.
• Terraform for infrastructure as code and network automation.
• Python or Ansible for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of secure, highly available network architectures across AWS and Azure.
• Architect multi-region, multi-account connectivity using Transit Gateway and ExpressRoute.
• Deploy Palo Alto Networks firewalls with HA and integration into CI/CD.
• Build reusable infrastructure as code and automate network changes.
• Mentor engineers and communicate risk, tradeoffs, and improvements.
