Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Staff Cloud Network Engineer to lead secure cloud and hybrid networking across AWS and Azure. You will design hub-and-spoke architectures, deploy Palo Alto firewalls, and automate with Terraform within a global enterprise context.

The role requires deep cloud networking expertise, Terraform-based IaC, and strong collaboration across Cloud, Platform, and Security teams. The position is remote as described, with a W2 basis and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, implementing, and supporting complex production networks with cloud focus.
• Advanced hands-on experience with AWS and Azure networking, with deep expertise in at least one.
• Experience designing multi-region/multi-account architectures and resilient hybrid connectivity.
• Hands-on deployment of Palo Alto firewalls in AWS/Azure, including Cloud NGFW/VM-Series.
• Expert understanding of BGP, routing, segmentation, and VPN architectures.
• Proven Terraform-driven infrastructure automation and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of secure, highly available cloud networks across AWS/Azure.
• Architect multi-region, multi-account connectivity using Transit/Gateway, ExpressRoute, and similar services.
• Develop standardized designs for routing, egress, and centralized inspection.
• Deploy Palo Alto Networks firewalls with HA, integration, and centralized management.
• Automate network provisioning with Terraform and Python/Ansible.
• Establish CI/CD workflows and collaborate with DevOps teams for operational handoff.
