Job summary

MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking a Sr. Cloud Network Engineer/Architect to design, deploy, and manage secure multi-cloud network infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Hybrid Bellevue, WA with a long-term contract.

Role emphasizes firewalls, direct connect/expressroute/interconnects, and IaC automation using Terraform, with close collaboration with DevOps and cloud architects to optimize security and performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cloud network engineering, including hands-on with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform networks and firewalls.
• Proven track record migrating workloads behind cloud firewalls.
• Proficiency with Terraform for IaC and Git version control.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, HTTP, SSL and related security concepts.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) on AKS, EKS, PKS or OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage secure cloud network infrastructures on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Configure and manage cloud-native firewalls, including AWS Network Firewall, Azure Firewall, and Google Cloud Firewall.
• Design and Configuring AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute and Google Cloud interconnects.
• Design and implement secure, scalable VPCs, subnets, and network security groups.
• Lead the migration of workloads and applications to operate behind cloud firewalls, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
