Job summary

JPMorgan Chase leads cloud-native platform initiatives within Corporate Technology, owning portfolio-scale architecture and driving delivery across multiple platforms to improve product intake, communication, and knowledge sharing.

You will shape architecture, set technical direction, mentor engineers, and ensure design standards, security, and reliability across the SDLC while collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to achieve measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years API software development experience (Java Spring, Python FastAPI)
• 2+ years AWS experience (ECS/Fargate, SNS, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3)
• 3+ years relational databases experience
• Infrastructure as Code deployment experience
• Proven distributed system design expertise
• Technical leadership with ability to elevate practices
• Strong agile experience and stakeholder communication

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio-level architecture and technical strategy across one or more platforms (Feature Request, Convey, TechTube)
• Lead complex technical initiatives from discovery through delivery and operations
• Partner with Product Owners to translate goals into measurable technical outcomes
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions with integrations, serverless architectures, and API extensions
• Write high-quality code across Java Spring Boot, React.js, GraphQL, Python
• Architect backend services, GraphQL APIs, and modern React UIs
• Enforce non-functional standards including SLOs/SLAs, observability, and CI/CD quality gates
• Evaluate new technologies and guide adoption with secure-by-design patterns
