Job summary

Evolver Federal seeks a Lead Cloud Engineer to join our team onsite in Bethesda, MD. The role requires leading cloud operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with focus on STRIDES workloads and cloud security.

The position is hybrid, onsite 3-5 days per week in Bethesda, MD. Candidates must have 7+ years in cloud engineering, FedRAMP experience, and the ability to obtain a NACIC clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
• 7 years of cloud engineering/operations experience with at least 5 years in a lead role.
• Professional-level certification (AWS/Azure/GCP) or equivalent.
• 5 years of FedRAMP environment experience.
• US Citizen able to obtain Level 5 NACIC security clearance.

Responsibilities

Evolver Federal is looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer to join our team supporting our federal client located onsite in Bethesda, MD.

This position requires a hybrid work environment with onsite work 3-5 days per week in Bethesda, MD depending on the requirements of the program

Responsibilities:

Lead cloud operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including STRIDES-hosted workloads and PACS-AE cloud operations; manage cloud migration execution, Infrastructure as Code, FinOps reporting, and cloud security patching

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related disciplines
• 7 years of cloud engineering/operations experience with at least 5 years of Lead experience
• Professional-level certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect) or equivalent;
• 5 years of FedRAMP environment experience
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Level 5 (NACIC) security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology or a Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
