Evolver Federal seeks an Infrastructure / Systems Administration Lead to support a federal client onsite in Bethesda, MD. Hybrid role requiring 3–5 days onsite weekly, with responsibilities spanning O&M, server/storage operations, and cloud environments.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or 7 years in systems administration, 8 years leading enterprise infrastructure, and 5 years with VMware VCP, Nutanix, and Windows/Linux administration. U.S.

Evolver Federal is looking for an Infrastructure / Systems Administration Lead to join our team supporting our federal client located onsite in Bethesda, MD.

This position requires a hybrid work environment with onsite work 3-5 days per week in Bethesda, MD depending on the requirements of the program.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure O&M; manage AHE availability, server/storage operations, and cloud environments

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or seven (7) years of experience in Systems Administration
• 8 years of experience supervising and managing enterprise infrastructure.
• 5 years of experience with VMware VCP or equivalent
• 5 years of experience with Nutanix, Cohesity, and Windows/Linux server administration
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Level 5 (NACIC) security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• A Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology
• The following certifications and skillset are preferred:
  • Microsoft MSCE, Windows Server OS, IIS, PowerShell, System Center Operation and Configuration Management,
  • Microsoft Azure Administration
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Professional
  • VMware Data Center Virtualization (DCV) - Design or Deploy
  • Nutanix Platform Expert (NPX)
  • IBM BigFix Lifecycle Administration
  • Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL) v3 or higher
  • CompTIA Security+ Certified Professional
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Public Trust Tier2 security clearance- Moderate risk (formerly MBI Level 5B)
