Job summary

Evolver is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer to join our federal team onsite in Bethesda, MD. The role demands leadership of cloud operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus migration, IaC, FinOps reporting, and security patching.

Hybrid work is required, with 3–5 onsite days per week dependent on program needs. A Bachelor's degree and 7 years of cloud experience (5 years in lead roles) are required, with professional cloud certifications and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering/Business or related discipline.
• 7 years of cloud engineering/operations experience with at least 5 years in lead roles.
• Professional-level cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) or equivalent.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Level 5 (NACIC) clearance and FedRAMP experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP including STRIDES and PACS-AE workloads.
• Manage cloud migration execution, Infrastructure as Code, and FinOps reporting.
• Oversee cloud security patching and overall cloud risk management.

Evolver Federal is looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer to join our team supporting our federal client located onsite in Bethesda, MD.

This position requires a hybrid work environment with onsite work 3-5 days per week in Bethesda, MD depending on the requirements of the program

Responsibilities:

Lead cloud operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including STRIDES-hosted workloads and PACS-AE cloud operations; manage cloud migration execution, Infrastructure as Code, FinOps reporting, and cloud security patching

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related disciplines
• 7 years of cloud engineering/operations experience with at least 5 years of Lead experience
• Professional-level certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect) or equivalent;
• 5 years of FedRAMP environment experienceUS Citizen with the ability to obtain a Level 5 (NACIC) security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology or a Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
