Job summary

Evolver Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure / Systems Administration Lead to join our Federal team onsite in Bethesda, MD. You will direct core infrastructure operations, including O&M, server and storage, and cloud environments, while ensuring high availability for critical systems.

This role requires US citizenship and an ability to obtain a Level 5 NACIC security clearance; hybrid work 3–5 days on site, with collaboration across engineering and security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or seven years of experience in Systems Administration.
• 8 years of experience supervising and managing enterprise infrastructure.
• 5 years of experience with VMware VCP or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience with Nutanix, Cohesity, and Windows/Linux server administration.
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Level 5 (NACIC) security clearance.

Evolver Federal is looking for an Infrastructure / Systems Administration Lead to join our team supporting our federal client located onsite in Bethesda, MD.

This position requires a hybrid work environment with onsite work 3-5 days per week in Bethesda, MD depending on the requirements of the program

Responsibilities:

Lead infrastructure O&M; manage AHE availability, server/storage operations, and cloud environments

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or seven (7) years of experience in Systems Administration
• 8 years of experience supervising and managing enterprise infrastructure.
• 5 years of experience with VMware VCP or equivalent
• 5 years of experience with Nutanix, Cohesity, and Windows/Linux server administration
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Level 5 (NACIC) security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology
• The following certifications and skillset are preferred:
  • Microsoft MSCE, Windows Server OS, IIS, PowerShell, System Center Operation and Configuration Management,
  • Microsoft Azure Administration
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Professional
  • VMware Data Center Virtualization (DCV) – Design or Deploy
  • Nutanix Platform Expert (NPX)
  • IBM BigFix Lifecycle Administration
  • Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL) v3 or higher
  • CompTIA Security+ Certified Professional
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Public Trust Tier2 security clearance- Moderate risk (formerly MBI Level 5B)
