Job summary

Evolver Federal is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer to join our team supporting a federal client onsite in Bethesda, MD. This role offers a hybrid schedule with 3-5 days on site, depending on program needs.

You will lead cloud operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP, drive migrations, IaC, FinOps reporting, and cloud security improvements while coordinating with cross‑functional teams to meet mission goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 7 years in cloud engineering/operations with at least 5 years in a lead role.
• Professional-level cloud certification (AWS/Azure/GCP) or equivalent.
• 5 years of FedRAMP environment experience.
• US Citizen able to obtain NACIC Level 5 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP with STRIDES and PACS-AE workloads.

Evolver Federal is looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer to join our team supporting our federal client located onsite in Bethesda, MD.

This position requires a hybrid work environment with onsite work 3-5 days per week in Bethesda, MD depending on the requirements of the program

Responsibilities:

Lead cloud operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including STRIDES-hosted workloads and PACS-AE cloud operations; manage cloud migration execution, Infrastructure as Code, FinOps reporting, and cloud security patching

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related disciplines
• 7 years of cloud engineering/operations experience with at least 5 years of Lead experience
• Professional-level certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect) or equivalent;
• 5 years of FedRAMP environment experience
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Level 5 (NACIC) security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology or a Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
