Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to oversee facility operations, delegate daily tasks, and supervise staff at a Nashville site. The role requires coordinating operations when the Manager is away and ensuring cleaning standards are met, including handling chemicals and specialized equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules, route cards as directed.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management.
• Assist with daily and weekly work schedules.
• Oversee cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Handle keys and access cards for the property.
• Report damaged, broken or out-of-work features/items.
• Oversee additional service requests in the building.
• Ensure quality of jobs and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
• Check supplies, equipment and chemicals weekly.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
