Job summary

Zachry Group in Houston is seeking a Civil Superintendent to lead civil EPC activities on an industrial construction project.

You will partner with engineering and procurement to plan, schedule, and execute, while managing a large civil workforce and maintaining safety, quality, and productivity. The role requires strong communication with diverse stakeholders and relocation/travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Industrial civil project experience is required.
• Ability to manage large teams and budgets.
• Read and interpret construction schedules and advance work packages.
• Strong communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Relocation to project area as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering on design and construction planning.
• Oversee field construction, maintenance, engineering, and project support activities.
• Develop and monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Review cost reports and analyze to reduce costs and maintain productivity.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure work meets scope and specifications.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Assist in procuring equipment and materials and coordinate delivery.
