Job summary

The candidate will lead project execution, interface with clients, and provide technical leadership across engineering disciplines

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree from an accredited four-year university.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license with 5+ years of progressively responsible civil and structural engineering experience.
• Experience designing industrial foundations, reinforced concrete structures, structural steel systems, and equipment support structures.
• Proficiency in civil-related 3D modeling and analysis software such as SkyCiv or RISA.
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• A professional demeanour with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to independently lead projects and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of client, industry, regulatory, and other guidelines, codes, etc.
• Foundation design and analysis (reinforced concrete and/or helical piles)
• Industrial structural design and analysis
• Reviewing and approving engineering deliverables
• Preparing and reviewing relevant permitting packages
• Interfacing directly with clients
• Providing support to other Engineering and Project Management staff
• Occasional field trips to complete surveys or collect information
