Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Beaumont is seeking a Structural Engineer IV to lead the complete design of complex civil/structural projects. This role requires extensive experience and the ability to work under general supervision in our Beaumont office.

The ideal candidate will develop layouts, perform design calculations, review vendor drawings, and guide teams to deliver accurate drawings and specifications on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university; structural coursework required.
• Requires 6+ years of relevant civil/structural engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer registration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of complex civil/structural projects under general supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to determine efficient approaches.
• Produce design calculations and drawings for construction materials and details.
• Review vendor drawings for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Lead and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Provide field support and gather data for tie-ins and construction.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to package development for procurement.
