Responsibilities include guiding the project from conceptual design to construction, ensuring high-quality deliverables, mentoring staff, and maintaining strong client relationships.

A Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a Michigan PE license are required, with 5–10 years of site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of site design, civil engineering, or land development experience.
• Michigan PE license is required.
• Experience designing private development projects (residential, commercial, industrial).
• Experience preparing construction documents and cost opinions.
• Ability to engage with clients, staff, contractors, and officials.
• Experience with state agencies or DOT specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design efforts for land development projects.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to define scopes and schedules.
• Guide projects from concept through construction with QA/QC oversight.
• Mentor staff and collaborate with internal/external teams and regulators.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.
