Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Lead Civil Roadway Engineer/Project Manager in Albuquerque to guide transportation design from concept to final design. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with DOT clients, mentor staff, and ensure quality and schedule adherence.

The role requires a PE license, 7–10 years of experience, and strong communication skills to manage client relations and project deliveries in New Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline required.
• 7–10 years of post-education experience in engineering and civil design.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain.
• Proficient with civil engineering principles, practices, and permitting.
• Experience with infrastructure design and DOT projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects across Transportation Design from concept to final design.
• Coordinate with design disciplines and remote offices.
• Mentor junior staff and manage staffing and project profitability.
• Ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.
• Represent WSP’s delivery capabilities to clients and industry groups.
