Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks an experienced Project Engineer to oversee civil site plans from concept to final design. You will coordinate workflows, manage junior staff, and interface with clients, agencies, and contractors to ensure compliance and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include multi-disciplinary coordination (grading, drainage, utilities, traffic), regulatory review, and QA/QC of design packages. PE licensure preferred or within 6–12 months, BSCE required, 4–8 years of civil design

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and site plan management.
• PE license required or active path to obtaining PE within 6–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site plan development from initial concept through final construction drawing sets.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering work (grading, drainage, utilities, traffic) and assign tasks to design engineers and CAD technicians.
• Review plans against local zoning ordinances, environmental guidelines, and municipal regulations to ensure full project compliance and permit approval.
• Lead submittals through municipal review boards and public hearings; act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors.
• Perform thorough technical reviews of engineering calculations, stormwater reports, and plan sets prior to regulatory submissions.
• Monitor project schedules, scopes, and design budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective milestone delivery.
