Job summary

Bohler in Warrenton, VA is seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead construction administration for large, complex land development projects. You will own delivery from pre-construction through closeout and serve as the primary client contact for the engagement.

The role focuses on managing project profitability, coordinating with design teams, contractors, and Bohler’s resources, while mentoring staff and shaping project strategy across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills for client, contractor, and design-team interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects, deadlines, and risk with good judgment.
• Track record of delivering profitable projects and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex construction administration projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Finalize project scopes, proposals, staffing plans, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate site conditions, risk, phasing, constructability, and safety considerations.
• Serve as primary client and contractor contact, guiding schedules, budgets, challenges, and decisions.
• Own project budgets, proposals, change orders, P&Ls, and coordination with counsel.
• Direct RFIs, submittals, and coordination with design teams and Bohler’s resources.
• Mentor and develop staff while modeling accountability and strong project management.
