Job summary

Bohler’s Richmond office (also considering locations: Herndon, Warrenton) seeks a Civil Project Manager to lead construction administration for large, complex land development projects in the Mid-Atlantic. You will own delivery from pre-construction through closeout, manage the primary client and contractor contact, and oversee project profitability.

Operate on project profitability, budgets, and change orders, while guiding design teams, consultants, and Bohler’s Technical Resource Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 6+ years in construction management or land development.
• Strong written and verbal communication to discuss complex issues with clients, contractors, design teams, and reviewing agencies.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines.
• Proactive coordination with project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex construction administration projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Finalize project scopes, plan staffing, and guide project execution.
• Evaluate site conditions, risk, phasing, constructability, and safety.
• Serve as primary client and contractor contact, guiding schedules and budgets.
• Own project budgets, proposals, change orders, and P&L.
• Coordinate RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and site observations.
• Mentor and develop staff while modeling accountability.
